Yo, yo, yo! I'd like to take this opportunity to pay tribute to one of the most talented local artist I know. I still remember singin'/rappin' his songs/raps when I was still busy chewing bubble gum. Those days wherein "Mga kababayan ko", "Gotta lecha know" and "Cold Summer Nights" were household songs. The one and only, Master Rapper, Philippines' King of Rap - Mr. Francis "Kiko" Magalona (October 4, 1964 – March 6, 2009)

The Filipino hip hop and nationalistic rap as he was well known of, His music has touched Filipinos by heart. He would ultimately be cited not just the "King of Philippine rap" but also "The Father of Pinoy Hip Hop". His music still lives on and will continue to inspire generations of artists and music fans both here and abroad.

Rest in Peace IDOL!

Maraming salamat sa pagiging sport, understanding, and everything! Sa mga ASAR-Talo, well- pasensya na! Bawi na lang kayo this year. No grudges! Trabaho lang, walang personalan!!!

belated happy Father's day

Yeah, I know-it’s been like a decade since my last post and here’s another late post for father’s day- hehehe
Berting Mata, Intsik, Tulisan and/or sabungero as to what others call him, At home we call him Dolphy, because a day won't end without a joke or two from him. He's also one those Filipinos who idolize Erap during his heydays. He likes politics, economics, general infos and showbiz! hehehe.

When he was young, his first and last employment was in a construction company to which ended up with fighting with his superior-fist fight, that is. After that he goes solo - being a street vendor along "Tabora" which is I don't know where- a street somewhere in Divisoria.

Then he decided to settle down at Taytay, Rizal where me, my brothers and sisters grew up. He's one of those folks who's always in front of the TV while drooling over crossword puzzle. And at night, he's always tuned in to that "toning" guy, Johny midnight. He's fond of animals - pig, dog, monkey, snake, dove, and obviously and most especially fighting cocks. Those are the things I missed about him. His jokes most of all and those times when he always disturb me to whatever I'm doing just to ask me the answer to his crossword puzzle. Yep, he left us last year January 06, 2004 and went to a better place. May he rest in peace or probably he's with San Pedro having their weekly Tupada. Well anyways, Happy Father's Day 'Tay!

"What can you do when you have to be a MAN?"

(1955) One famous line from my favorite Hollywood actor, James Dean, asking his father in confusion after engaging himself into a chickie run that led to a tragic accident which killed his teenager archrival.

Most of us had asked ourselves this question at one point in our lives or maybe everyday. What does it take to be a man? • Is it measured by the number of fights you've won, be it physical or intellectual?
• The face you give when you're looking at defeat, fear or rejection?
• How you react to a tickling world of temptation? …the number of girls you slept with?
• Does giving in implies cowardliness? ...or a domineering “Mine, mine, mine” sounds very suggestive?
• Or is it simply how to deal with your inevitable self? …controlling one self to any situation you'll get into.
Yes, I only have the questions. It's for you to answer…
